Phase 3 — Stage / Band Room Addition & Renovations to Stone Chapel

 

Stage / Band Addition

 

Stage

· Pop out north side of Gym large equivalent to current movable platform used for school performances

· Raised 30” off gym floor

· Proper stage lighting and audio system

· Supplemental acoustical treatment in gym as warranted

· Storage behind stage for materials and props

· Ramp and Stair access from gym to stage height

· Outside entrance/exit for stage materials and personnel

· Stage curtain and backdrop

 

Band Room

· Wind and percussion instruments

· 6^th grade band - 28 now

· 7^th & 8^th grade band combined - 15 to 20 now – 40 to 45 very likely

· Other music programs in existing rooms to remain in rooms in parish center basement

· Currently band practicing in multipurpose room @ PC

· Director part time – 2 music classes 3 days / week

· Instrument storage

· No office space needed

· Teaches from behind keyboard in band room

 

 

Stone Chapel Renovations / Accessibility

· Exterior handicapped ramp

· Unisex handicapped restroom upstairs

· Improved HVAC in basement

· Seal/perimeter drain foundation from leaks

· New carpet in basement

· New basement windows/door
