Phase 1 - Fr. Quigley Faith Formation Center and Adoration Chapel
Named in honor of our former pastor, Fr. Jack Quigley (1968 – 1976), whose love for children resulted in the start of our Children’s Center in 1971, The Father Quigley Faith Formation Center and Adoration Chapel, will be constructed on the southeast corner of 92nd and Summit to provide space for:
· Holy Trinity Early Education Center (EEC), · Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program (CGS), · Youth Programs · Adult Faith Formation · Parish Life Programs
Once construction is completed of QFFC and everything is moved into the facility, demolition of the existing Children’s Center will immediately occur to make way for construction of the new Perpetual Adoration Chapel – completing Phase 1 of our TWC initiatives.
HTBC has been working over the past few months with Hollis Miller, Project Architect and Engineers as well as S.M. Wilson, General Contractor, to develop the following final designs.
Preliminary Schematics:
· Ground Level - Children’s Center · Second Level - Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Parish Meeting and Faith Formation

Site Plan
The Quigley Center will be aligned along Summit Street generally located on the existing Children’s Center playground, the vacant lot bordering on Pflumm, and the vacant lot bordering on Summit. Holy Trinity is the owner of all parcels of land required for the project, and no additional land acquisition is being considered as part of the project.
The Center will include a fenced in playground on the east side of the Center up to the property boundary along Pflumm with a smaller enclosed playground for toddlers.
Approximately 12 diagonal parking spaces in front of the Quigley Center will be provided on Summit Street for short term visitors and drop off during the weekdays. This will be used for Mass and meeting space parking in the evenings and on weekends. Staff and longer term visitor parking will be in the church parking lot. Parking provided along 92nd Street will be exclusively for the Adoration Chapel.
Floor Plan – General The interior of the Center will include two full levels, for a total of approximately 41,300 square feet – less than the total program square footage of the preliminary plan. The Building area will be apportioned roughly as follows:
· 21,000 sq ft for Early Education Center – all ground level · 6,500 sq ft for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd – second level · 5,400 sq ft for multi-generational faith formation space – second level · 2,100 sq ft for gathering/café space – second level · 650 sq ft for office space – second level · 800 sq ft for shared storage – second level · 860 sq ft Perpetual Adoration Chapel – ground level
The building will have full handicap accessibility with elevator access, fire sprinkler/alarm protection and interior and exterior security access control system for safety of all those inside. Two interior classrooms on the ground level will be reinforced for storm protection.
