The Quigley Center will serve many important programs of our Faith Formation ministry such as:

· GIFT (Growing in Faith Together)

· Sacramental Preparation retreat/meetings

· Generations of Faith

· Parish Retreats

· RCIA

· Bible Studies

· Faith Groups

· Evangelization and Outreach

GIFT and Sacrament Prep

The first two programs stated above are typically held in the evenings, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., starting with a warm, catered meal in the Church Social Room.  These programs reach a large segment of our young parish families on a regular basis.  Sacrament meetings include parents with children, currently two groups of 15 to 50 families one night every other week for each group.  With the larger multi-use spaces, these could become a single combined meeting, something highly preferred by staff.

The GIFT meetings can include up to 200 people.  The Social Room is getting to be too small, the cafeteria is too sterile, and the gym too busy with sporting events.  GIFT Groups prepare crafts, write, and sometimes act out lessons and need the flexibility to break out into a minimum of four groups in adjacent rooms – accommodated by the movable partition design of the space.  The various rooms will be equipped with independent A / V equipment for music and video presentations, tables will be used for activities as well as open space, again, accommodated by the flexibility and design of the Quigley center.

Generation of Faith

This newer ministry that features a shared meal together, main assembly presentation, breakout sessions by age and concluding with large group sharing, has unlimited potential for getting our parishioners of all ages to come together in faith and fellowship.   Currently, because of the many physical limitations and challenges of our disconnected campus, it’s logistically impossible to create a safe, effective environment.

That would change dramatically with the Quigley multi-use space.  The gym would not need to be closed and decorated, and parishioners would no longer be required to go to other buildings to attend their breakout sessions – everything could be achieved under one roof!  The Quigley Center will be able to accommodate up to 300 parishioners for this special program.  If significantly more register to attend, multiple evening sessions can be planned as is done at several other parishes in the area.

Parish Retreats

Everyone understands how important a warm, relaxing environment is when we talk about a retreat.  Retreats have been a regular part of our adult faith and spiritual journey at Holy Trinity.  Recently, we have begun offering “local” retreats on campus for those who find the weekend off campus retreats too difficult to attend.  The Quigley Center will provide the right atmosphere and location for a parish or ministry retreat.
