Holy Trinity Building Committee
In April 2006 Holy Trinity formed a Building Committee (HTBC) for the Together We Can Project. The purpose of the committee was to guide the selection process of the Architect and Engineer and Contractor, and to oversee the development of the design concepts and technical requirements prepared by Hollis Miller. HTBC reviews design issues for the Parish Leadership, and where needed, seeks the assistance of additional technical experts and consultants.
HTBC also serves as a liaison between Hollis Miller and S.M. Wilson during the design and construction of each phase of the Project to ensure that Holy Trinity’s requirements are integrated into the project and that schedule obligations are met.
The HTBC is formed of Professionals from within the Holy Trinity Parish who have specific professional experience.
Eric Oldenhuis (Chairman) – Engineering and Project Management. Eric has over 20 years experience in project management for one of the largest engineering firms in the country. As Chair, his role is to ensure the committee balances their direction and decisions for a quality, long term design/function while achieving the best overall value.
Nick Disidore (Project Manager) - Nick, who has worked full-time as the Parish Administrator for Holy Trinity since 1989, coordinates all aspects of the Project for the Parish. He is responsible for primary interface with the Building Committee, Hollis Miller and SM Wilson and is responsible for coordinating approvals with the Archdiocese.
Jim Frank – Electrical Design. As the owner of a local electrical company, Jim has an extensive background in all aspects of electrical design and construction. His company recently merged in order to expand their presence in the electrical, lighting, and energy management systems.
Al Rossi - Construction. Al has worked in the commercial construction industry for over 25 years as a project superintendent. His “real-world” knowledge and experience in dealing with subcontractors, safety, and quality control offers the HTBC invaluable insights in construction preparation and execution.
Sallie Kytt Redd ASID - Interior Design. Sallie has been a mainstay of interior design input and direction for previous parish campaigns and projects both as a committee member and volunteer. As a self-employed interior designer for over 30 years, she continues to bring her skill in color, style, and value to the final design process. Jane Klein - Permits & Approvals. As an active member of the parish her whole life, Jane, a member of the Lenexa City Council for many years, also offers her skills and insights as into the local code and government issues that may impact our permit, design and construction.
Roger Dykmann – Engineering. Roger is an electrical engineer by education and profession. However, he is skilled in nearly all aspect of residential construction with a keen eye for detail. Roger is also a very talented woodworker.
Morris Stoops — Security and Safety Systems. Morris has played an integral part the ongoing design and installation of our campus fire protection and security systems. As a regional distributor and designer of such systems for over 20 years, his knowledge and understanding of our campus and new Center operations are invaluable.
Mike Walsh – Finance. Mike serves as Chair of the Parish Finance Council. As part owner in local firm as a full time CPA as well as actively involved in the finances of the parish, he understands and communicates the importance of fiscal accountability and responsibility to ensure the parish is not excessively burdened.
